QUESTION: Should the new tekin system with the timing adjustment capability have their own class? what's your feelings on this?

seeing how all other speedo companies are incorporating timming adjustments/boost into their speedos seems pointless. As hard as it sounds. your not going to win or loose the race because of your speedo or motor.

Sorry for being cranky old guy, but…
I don’t remember a new class being created when some guys started showing up with: Electronic speed controls instead of wiper resistors. Pushed nicads. High frequency brushed speed controls.
Every one of those was a huge advantage just like the latest speedos. Nowadays it seems every advance leads to yet another new class.
Anyway rant over, sorry, back on subject…
This latest transition is almost over best I can tell. Yes, the latest Tekin rips, but seems the LRP SXX, latest SpeedPassion software, GM, Black Diamond, probably the Novak Kinetic when it finally comes out, etc, all warm a stocker up pretty good too. It’s racing, technology advances. Guess I vote no, I like the dramatic improvements I’ve seen. A lot.
We might need to redefine what is a stock and super stock motor though. Maybe 21.5 for stock and 17.5 for super stock? I haven’t even begun to figure my new software out and I’m amazed how fast a 17.5 can go. And you don’t need those crazy pinions that hit the motor screws anymore, yeah!
